Company to launch a National Head Lice Check Program in schools across the country

ALBANY, OR (June 2, 2006)-Tec Laboratories (Tec Labs), an innovator of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, has signed on as a proud sponsor of the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The sponsorship supports National PTA's efforts to support children's success in school by improving their health and school attendance.

As part of its sponsorship, Tec Labs will launch the "Keeping Our Kids Lice Free" Head Lice Check Program by including an educational DVD in each of this year's PTA Back-to-School Kits. The DVD will give step-by-step instructions on how to conduct a head lice check program, as well as how to identify and treat head lice. An additional tool will be a Fact and Fiction Guide about head lice to give school personnel and parents the answers to typical questions.
