If I decide to retreat just as a precaution, when is the best time to do so?

Question

If I decide to retreat just as a precaution, when is the best time to do so? And if it's 7-10 days, does that include the day you first treated? If you retreat too early will there still be the possibility of those original eggs hatching in a few days if they were not all killed by the product originally?

Answer

The reason all lice products say to treat within 7-10 days is because that is the time frame it takes for the nits to hatch. If you are using Licefreee Spray or Gel, the only reason they would hatch is if the nits didn’t come in contact with the product. The 7-10 days would be from the day of first treatment.

Also note, Licefreee can be used as often as you like as it does not contain any chemical pesticides so you can retreat before 7 days if you think you may have missed any nits.
